We are pleased to announce a significant new addition to the Aviation Weather section. Notices to Airmen (NOTAMs) and Temporary Flight Restriction (TFR) graphics are now available.

TFRs are portrayed at national, regional, and individual levels using an intuitive drill-down interface. Individual TFR areas are super-imposed over VFR sectional charts for easier identification.

The new searchable NOTAM database is updated every 5 minutes. It provides aviators with a variety of means for locating NOTAMs that may be applicable to their flight operations.
  

We have recently added an update FAQ as well as a "Common Problems & Solutions" page. These are located on the "Support Resources" page available on the Services drop-down. If you are having a particular problem with animations, Radarlab, or some other issue, be sure to check these pages to see if a resolution is available.

New Aviation Weather section

We are pleased to announce that WeatherTAP has received QICP certification from the FAA for the new Aviation Weather portion of our site. This means that weather data obtained from WeatherTAP now meets the criteria set forth in FAR Parts 121 and 135 as an "approved" weather source. Commercial air carrier operators no longer need to go offsite to get "legal".

Note there is no "approved" source requirement for part 91 operations. WeatherTAP data has always been acceptable for Part 91 operations.
