Many WeatherTAP users don't realize that the Local Forecast page is not the only place to obtain forecasts. A type of short-term forecast, issued many times throughout the day, is available on the Severe Weather page. These "NowCasts" often reflect changes to zone forecasts as atmospheric conditions change unexpectedly and offer another useful resource for short-term prediction.
