A few changes have been made with Revision 23 of RadarLab HD. Click here to read more.
1. User Defined Colors For WWAs - The colors that define the watches, warnings and advisories can now be changed by the user. Just click on the "Settings" button and you will see the colors listed under the "WWA Colors" section on the Defaults tab.
2. Handling of Internet Connection Failure - Coding has been added to better handle internet disconnects and a loss of internet connection. RadarLab HD should not freeze if it fails to download new data. It should now keep on running as normal even if it fails to download the new data.
3. Real-time Lightning Refresh Time - If you have a real-time lightning addition on your RadarLab HD account, then lightning data in your defined real-time coverage area will now update once per minute.
4. What's New Button - This button was added so users could see what features or enhancements have been made with each RadarLab HD release.

I have become a big fan of Radar Lab HD. I live in White Plains, NY and we are experiencing an above average severe thunderstorm season this year. Is there any way to capture the radar loops and replay them sequentially to view a longer time frame? Several of these events would have been interesting to see over a span of a few hours as they unfolded.
Thanks for your help.

Larry,
I'm sorry but their is no way to capture the radar loops in RadarLab HD. These are not animated GIF images that get display they are still images being overlaid on top of the background in RadarLab HD. You can go back up to 20 frames from the current radar frame.

I was just wondering if there was any progress on anything that would help smooth out the Super Resolution on Radar lab HD? I would like it much better.Thank you

weathertracker,
We are still debating this issue. Some people love the way the new Super Resolution looks and some people hate it with a passion. We have some proposed changes and are waiting to see what management decides. I'll probably start a blog post today with sample pictures of what we are proposing and have people express their opinion about what they would like.
